Atacama Evoque 60-40 Special Edition
High density carbonized bamboo shelving has significant sonic advantages vs traditional hardwood and veneers. Its unique structure offers excellent vibration absorbing and resonance controlling properties.
Atacama’s Sonic Isolation System Technology consists of two dampening gaskets* in each leg designed to reduce “ringing”.
Aluminium top and lower caps act as resonance conductors, dissipating energy away from the bamboo shelves through to the floor.
Leg lengths are 15mm longer than standard, lowering the resonance frequency of each module vs a standard Evoque.
Extra adjustable nickel plated bronze frostrum cone weights are added to the leg internal studs so the module frequency can be tuned to dial out the resonance of the equipment.
Each Bamboo panel has V.R.D.C., a 3D geometric design, crafted into the underside of each module to neutralise high frequency harmonic energy, directing it away from the equipment toward the leg grounding components - avoiding resonance feedback and maximising each modules performance.
With so much resonance being directed away from the bamboo, the spike interface has now opened so avoiding a constriction of this energy and allowing it to freely dissipate to the floor.
The price shown is for a typical natural bamboo finished support consisting of a base module and one of each of the three available shelf height modules (giving a total of 4 levels of support). Prices vary depending on the chosen height of the shelf modules.
