Here at Hi-Fi Stereo, we're often asked if there is an AV receiver available that isn't too tall. The new Marantz NR1501 fits the bill (and fits in available spaces!).
The receiver isn't as heavily powered as bulkier receivers but 50 watts per channel (RMS) is enough power for most rooms. And the NR1501 can supply that to 7 speakers as well, of course, as sending low bass signals to a subwoofer.
Four HDMI inputs are available for digital sources and analogue sources can be upconverted to be sent to a TV via the HDMI output.
Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio decoding, automatic set-up and an FM/AM RDS tuner round out the feature list.
As well as the black finish above, the receiver is available in a silver-gold finish.
For under £450, Marantz has provided a solution to a problem many customers face and we're sure the NR1501 will sell very well. |
